I usually take photos of the food but i thought the environment was so interesting that i was just walking around the restaurant taking photos with the coffee mug in one hand.

The innhus was for food storage sleeping and living. Here the emphasis is on the viking era and as you enter you step into the world of the past. Two rows of high posts supported the roof and ran down the entire length of the building which could be up to 250 feet long. The owner of the restaurant is the progeny of viking.

Viking families lived in the central hall portion of the building.
